Public Education Workshop in Subcarpathia
Within the framework of the Cuháré Dance Workshop Szeged I initiated the Subcarpathian Cuháré Public Educator Workshop to promote folk dances and culture in Subcarpathia. In 2009-2010 we organized 36 folk events (dance houses) within which more than a thousand children and adults dance with us in different places in Subcarpathia (most western region of Ukraine). Besides the volunteers who joined to this mission, we've got a generous financial support (700 eFt/ ~ 2250 EUR) from the National Civil Fund (Hungary) under the project number NCA-NK-10-C-1007.
